Dairy Corn Kugel

The hi-carb content in this Dairy Corn Kugel recipe make it ideal for serving before the Yom Kippur fast. If serving this before the Yom Kippur fast, put as little salt and soup mix into it as possible.

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces (400 gm) frozen corn, defrosted
  • 1/2 pound (250 gm) cottage cheese
  • 1/2 pound (250 gm) sour cream or Israeli leben
  • 1/4 pound (100) gm yellow cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. corn flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup (50 grm) yellow cheese

Preparation:

1. Mix all ingredients except last yellow cheese.
2. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
3. Top with a cup of shredded yellow cheese.
4. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until firm.
