Chocolate Covered Bananas

When you've invited guests with children for Shabbat lunch, this is the perfect dessert for children. Your children will enjoy making this dessert with you and then serving the Banana Pops to their Shabbat guests.

Ingredients:

  • 4 peeled bananas (bananas should not be too soft)
  • 1 cup of pareve chocolate
  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Wax Paper
  • Chopped Nuts (optional)

Preparation:

1. Cut bananas in half and push popsicle stick gently in.
2. Melt chocolate in microwave or double broiler.
3. Roll the banana pop into the melted chocolate.
4. If desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
5. Place on wax paper and freeze until hard.
