Pecan Noodle Kugel

Pecan Noodle Kugel

This Pecan Noodle Kugal is the perfect side dish for a Rosh Hashanah holiday meal. Celebrate the Jewish New Year with sweet kugels.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 16-ounce package extra wide noodles
  • 6 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation:

1. Preheat over to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, salt and cinnamon.
4. Combine the noodles with the egg mixture. Pour into a greased pyrex baking pan.
5. Mix pecans, brown sugar and melted margaring. Pour on top of the noodles.
6. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until cooked throughout.
