Rabbi Ari Enkin:

Rabbi Ari N. Enkin fulfilled his lifelong dream of making aliya in July 2004 after serving seven years as a congregational and community rabbi in Montreal, Edmonton, and Winnipeg. He received his semicha from the Yeshiva Gedola of Montreal and from the late Rabbi Pinchas Hirshprung. He also received Yadin-Yadin ordination from a number of noted dayanim including Rabbi Michael Broyde of Atlanta and Rabbi Ephraim Greenblatt of Memphis. He holds a master’s degree in Informal Adult Education from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.

Work History:

Since making Aliya, Rabbi Enkin has taught at a number of Yeshivot and Seminaries in the area of Halacha studies, and also delivers lectures and shiurim in the community by invitation. He is currently employed as the manager of Cheerfully Changed Financial Services in Modiin. He also serves as the General Editor of the highly acclaimed “Hirhurim” Halacha website as well as the Orthodox Rabbinical Advisor to Judaism.about.com. His previous publications include “Hilchot Melicha –Translated”, “Dalet Amot – Halachic Perspectives” (Gefen Publishing), and "Amot Shel Halacha" (Urim Publications), among others.

Personal Life:

Rabbi Enkin is married to Shayna and they have three children Shira, Eitan, and Tehilla. They currently reside in Ramat Beit Shemesh.
