Israel Independence Day Picnics

You haven't celebrated Independence Day in Israel if you haven't had a cookout. On the radio, the announcers change the words of the Israeli Independence Day song from "kol ha'aretz, degalim, degalim" (the whole county, flags, flags) to "kol ha'aretz, mangalim, mangalim" (the whole country, barbecues, barbecues)."
