Question: Can My Non-Jewish Wife Participate in our Son's Bar Mitzvah?

Answer: The degree to which a non-Jewish spouse can participate in a Bar or Bat Mitzvah is subject to the authority and sensitivity of your rabbi who is officiating. No other rabbi or movement can change that authority.

I hope that both your wife and child will understand that many Jewish rituals have uniquely Jewish elements to them. Other religions have similar exclusive characteristics; in the Catholic church, Jews are not permitted to take the host.

In the case of your son's Bar Mitzvah, there may be some non-ritual opportunities in which your wife can participate. Please speak with your rabbi about this matter, as he/she is the final authority regarding the way your son's bar mitzvah will be celebrated in your synagogue.
