A friend of mine served chicken wings in this marinade. I took out the oil in the recipe, and used the marinade on chicken legs and thighs. It is great served with white rice.
- 3 pounds of chicken pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry (wine can be substituted)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- salt, pepper
Preparation:1. Mix all the sauce ingredients.
2. Marinate the chicken in it for a a few hours or overnight.
3. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until brown and cooked through.
4. Serve with white rice.
