Question: Do bereaved Jewish children need to sit shivah and observe mourning rituals?

Dear Rabbi,
If the parents of a four year old child both die suddenly, what are the rules for that child in terms of observing Shivah and other Jewish burial / mourning rituals?
Thank you, Carly

Answer: Dear Carly,

Jewish children of that age are completely exempt from any of laws of mourning.

May we not know of such cases.
