Rabbi Lerner earned Rabbinic Ordination, a Master of Hebrew Language degree, and a Doctor of Divinty degree from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America. In addition to decades of experience as a pulpit rabbi, Rabbi Lerner has an exceptional amount of hands-on experience in formal and informal Jewish education. He served on the staff of Camps Ramah and the National Youth Commission, and he served on the Boards of the World Council of Synagogues and Mercaz. Rabbi Lerner, a member of the Rabbinical Assembly, has published articles in Women's League Magazine, United Synagogue Review, Jewish Educational Services for North America Reporter, American Rabbi, and local newspapers. Currently, Rabbi Lerner is the President of Foundation for Family Education, Inc. (FFFE). FFFE is a non-profit educational project that aims to empower parents to become their children's primary religious educator and to support healthy and constructive family learning dynamics.
