A Torah PacMan Action Game
Offering over 1,000 questions in six main areas, Mitzvah Man is a fun way to build knowledge
of Jewish law. Meant for a user with
an understanding of Judaism, the game presumes a knowledge of Hebrew
terms and offers transliterations, but not translations. From the 3.5
diskette, to the instructions explaining how to install from DOS and
Windows 95, the installation is a reminder of the 1996 copyright
date. While Mitzvah Man
supports navigation by mouse and keyboard, the game is best played with
arrow keys. Despite the slightly out-of-date look and feel, the
game is entertaining. Like
the Pac-Man game it is modeled after, Mitzvah Man has cute sound effects
and a colorful interface. Play it to learn serious Jewish concepts while
having fun!
