Question

I was wondering whether you could advise me as to the tradition of who stands with the bride and groom under the chuppah. Is it parents and siblings, parents alone etc.? Are there any traditions associated with this?

Thank you very much for your advice.

Answer

There is an excellent book detailing all the marriage and wedding customs, that I highly recommend:
"Made in heaven" by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan.

He says that the custom is for parents to stand under the chuppah, and that other members of the wedding party may be present under the chuppah as well.

If this pertains to you, Mazal Tov!
