Question

Are there suggested prayers for the country, our service men and women fighting in the war with Iraq, and the President/Government officials that can be used at the sedar?

Answer

There is the special prayer that we say for the safety of our government and its delegates - the armed forces. This prayer can be found in the Shabbat prayer, after the Torah reading, before Musaf.

Additional prayers are, Psalms: 20, 94, 120, 121, 130, 142.

With blessings from Jerusalem,
