Question

What can you tell me about the Ma Tovu song?

Answer

"Ma Tovu" is a collection of verses (from Numbers 24:5 and Psalms) said upon entering the synagogue in the morning. It is in praise and reverence of the synagogue, which we have in lieu of the Holy Temple - (source: "Seder Amram Gaon" Tefillot U'Bekashot; "Siddur Kol Yacov" - Artscroll).

With blessings from Jerusalem,
