* This recipe is based on a recipe from Savory Pies (Pashtaydot) by Kobi Bar (Modan Publishers).

dough:
2 1/3 cups flour
100 gram margarine or butter, softened
1 sour cream (170 m"l)

filling:
3 Tbsp. butter
6 onions, large, finely chopped
250 gram mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 tsp. mushroom soup powder
salt and pepper to taste
3 eggs
200 grams yellow cheese, grated

1. Mix dough ingredients. Form ball, Refrigerate 1/2 hour.
2. Grease pan and spread dough in pan.
3. Melt margarine or butter and fry onions until yellow.
4. Add mushrooms. Fry 5 more minutes.
5. Add cream and soup mix. Add salt and pepper. Fry for about 5 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
6. Pour into a bowl and drain a little. Add eggs. Pour into dough.
7. Bake 15 minutes until filling hardens.
8. Spread cheese over quiche and bake 35 minutes.
